What are we doing moms?
Running around busy, busy, busy.... Where are your kids? When was the last time you have had a conversation with them about life? School? Friends?
Is it not our responsiblity to raise our kids or have we let others do it for us?
Come on moms...is it is not time to step up to the plate! Time to be content with our families, our spouse, our kids... Time to be a mom....Time to encourage each other that it is alright to be a mom?
Do you not realize that the world has fed and is feeding us a bunch lies and garbage- telling us that to be important we needed to be empowered; have a man's job. In the meantime our kids are fending for themselves and left to raise themselves.
Now there are those who want to take the rights of being parents away and enforce more of their own belief systems onto our children. When has this become the right thing to do? You are the parent! Stand up for your family, moms!
There is no shame in being at home. Home is the place where you kiss the scraped knee and give thousands of hugs and kisses. Home is the place where you tell your kids when they have had a failed test, that you will help them study for the next one. Home is the place to be loved and told that you are loved.
What has happened to us moms? Why have we stopped nurturing our little ones and admiring the attributes of motherhood? We have ended up bitter and angry because we are empty- we are tired of the Superwoman image. Women have become crass and crude- only caring about the next manicure or fashion accessory, whether botox or the latest trend. We leave the care of our children to the media, the schools, and government.
Enough! Now is the time to take care of our own and help and encourage those that are around us, like our neighbors.
